WCE welcomes a delegation from the State Railway of Thailand

On March 31, 2022, a delegation from the State Railway of Thailand visited the facilities of West Coast Engineering (WCE) in Bangsaphan, Prachuap Khiri Khan. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Pratak Suttisamdang, Head of MFE Service Business Unit, and Mr. Kajorn Sivarungson, Head of the Rail Engineering Business Service Unit.
The delegation was given a tour of the production process in various areas of the factory, including Workshop 3, which houses several specialized machines related to rail engineering, such as wheel assembly and disassembly machines and bearing assembly machines. One of these machines is one of only a few in the country.

In addition to touring the rail engineering facilities, the delegation also visited the prototype of a container truck produced and tested by WCE according to the required standards. This truck is currently being prepared for testing on railway tracks.

Inside the WCE factory, activities include the production and assembly of steel structures, the production and repair of machinery, and the maintenance of vehicles for industrial use. The factory also has testing procedures with modern tools and certified by standards as well.
