WCE’s Robotics and Automation business unit is trusted by SSI to work on the Revamp DC Drive project.

Mr. Chatchawat Saejang, Head of the Robotics and Automation Business Unit of West Coast Engineering Company Limited or WCE, said that Sahaviriya Steel Industries has been trusted continuously. Public Company Limited or SSI is a leading manufacturer of hot-rolled coils in Southeast Asia. with a maximum production capacity of 4 million tons of hot-rolled steel sheets per year.

Previously in 2021, WCE was entrusted to the project and completed delivery. Later in 2022, the customer wishes to do more to Revamp the DC drive (model SPD.) of the Looper 1- 2 which has been discontinued due to unable to find spare parts, has changed to a DC Drive model SPDM new model with a new control board system2 2 more Units by Turnkey Project from System Design, Engineering, Erection, Commissioning, Training and Performance Test to get what customers want in terms of quality, price, and delivery and no accidents happen.

By now, the Engineering Design part has been delivered and approved by the customer, and the Robotic and Automation unit is continuing the production and engineering part, which will be delivered to the customer within January 2023.
