Welcome to the Representative Committee for Conducting Pre-Qualification inspection Procedures

On June 9, 2566, representatives from three leading companies in the engineering machinery and equipment production sector, namely CRRC Meishan Co., Ltd., River Engineering Co., Ltd., and Grandline Innovations Co., Ltd., visited the working area at the West Coast Engineering (WCE) factory in Bangsaphan, Prachuap Khiri Khan province, as part of the Pre-Q (Pre-Qualification) process for Bogie Container flat wagon assembly. The visit was specifically focused on WCE’s potential in producing and assembling Bogie Container flat wagon. WCE has a business unit specializing in railway system engineering and has successfully manufactured and tested prototype vehicles that meet the required standards. 

During the visit, the representatives explored various production processes, with particular emphasis on Workshop 3, the location for machinery related to railway system engineering. Mr. Kajorn Sivarungson, the Head of Rail Engineering Business Unit, along with Mr. Pongrapree Sapankaew, Senior Deputy Managing Director, warmly welcomed the visiting representatives. Furthermore, discussions were held regarding future collaborations in the procurement of Bogie Container flat wagon and the potential for local content manufacturing. WCE, with its expertise in railway system engineering machinery, possesses the necessary infrastructure, equipment, and highly skilled personnel.
